The Dual Crisis & Our Solution

South Africa faces a critical intersection of challenges: staggering youth unemployment at 46%, with more than 3 million young people not in education, employment, or training and an escalating industrial waste crisis where less than 10% of the country's 122 million tons of annual waste is recycled.

Traditional institutions often lack functional workshops and real manufacturing exposure, while timber, MDF, and hardwood costs have increased 30–60% due to import dependence.

Forthright Holdings was established to interrupt this cycle. We operate at the nexus of professional training and high-end manufacturing equipping individuals with tangible industrial skills while actively diverting timber and structural waste from landfills.

  • Deliver accredited artisan training that produces job-ready graduates in Cabinet Making, Upholstery, CNC, Wood Machining and Entrepreneurship.
  • Manufacture commercial furniture for government, construction, retail and private clients using lean production.
  • Transform wood, plastic and pallet waste into eco-composite panels and furniture components.
